Twitter Town Hall – Obama says “Internets”
Obama. Oh man. I can't believe it when I saw this. I made immense fun of George Bush for saying "internets" and now Obama repeats the same thing during the Twitter town hall. Luckily, it was caught on video, so you can hear it for yourself:
I guess I shouldn't be so tough on the President, but this surely must have been a mistake, because afterwards he seems to have caught it and is trying to explain a bit of what he meant. Funny nonetheless. The difference here is Obama actually slipped where as George Bush to this day calls it "the internets".
Sarah Palin Calls Mainstream Media the Lamestream Media
Sarah Palin is so original. She is now calling the mainstream media the lamestream media and saying she has had enough. She's a paid contributor to the Fox News Channel, which in my opinion would be considered the mainstream media. After all, Fox News is on cable, millions of Americans have cable, and therefore it's just as mainstream as anything else. So since she works for Fox news, does that make her work for the lamestream?
Coming from someone who doesn't read books or magazines, she sure has the balls to say she keeps correcting what the news is reporting about her. Who is going to vote for her and Michele Backmann on the 2012 ticket? C'mon.
She says she's for free press, and says she loves this country, but she attacks the very thing that makes this country great, and that's free press. She's always the victim, and someone is always out to get her. Well guess what Sarah, when you accepted the Vice President run with your boy John McCain, you put yourself in the limelight. When you do that, you get exposure, and if you can't handle the exposure how will you handle a seat in the Whitehouse as a Vice President?
When conservatives are conservative, and don't know why they're conservatives, it's a sad day. Stop using words like Lamestream media just because Rush Limbaugh says it, or someone else who hates anything not conservative.
Get a mind of your own.
